Staying
Small does not mean confined – inside the beautiful Georgian exterior is a light filled entrance hall which opens to; the stunning Georgian Room, a chic Bar and Restaurant, and comfy corners to read a paper and enjoy a long relaxing coffee. Then there are the 16 individually designed bedrooms with beds chosen for their absolute comfort and they are big, very big - a place where relaxation and peaceful sleep is a given.  The Hotel has an atmosphere of a large period home – but just when you think you have the place clear in your mind, a quirky velvet chair in a brilliant colour or a piece of art deco inspired furniture takes you by surprise.  Service of the highest standards is where The Kings excels – so impeccable service, a historical but convenient location and unpretentious elegance is The Kings in a nutshell.

Sleeping
Bedrooms at the front of the Hotel overlook the historic Kings Arms Bowling Green, the Christchurch Castle Ruins, Norman Hall and Priory - a view which has been preserved and which only The Kings can offer. Each room has been designed to make the most of the views, many with large period windows and two with their own period balconies.  Rooms at the rear of the Hotel overlook a new courtyard where pretty ice cream coloured homes with balconies fit perfectly within the surrounding architecture. Fabrics are soft, linens smooth and crisp, quilts deep and warm, cushions and pillows plump, bath robes enveloping.  Leaving is the difficult bit....
