The Kings Priory

The Kings Priory is licensed to hold civil partnerships and wedding ceremonies for up to 90 guests. Smaller, intimate weddings are perfectly placed in our stunning Georgian lounge. With incredible views, backdrop of the wonderful heritage grounds, picturesque bowling green and beautiful river bank of Christchurch, say “I do” in a truly fairy-tale setting.

With its beautiful decor, our Georgian lounge is the perfect setting for a smaller, more intimate champagne toast or wedding breakfast for up to 50 guests. The large Georgian windows give a bright and airy feel amongst contemporary boutique luxury, providing a wonderful atmosphere for you and your guests.

The Pavilion

Spring 2013 will witness the introduction of a new ceremony venue, to accommodate the ever growing number of weddings, as the old bowling pavilion is transformed in to a beautiful “New England” style venue.

The Pavilion will be able to host marriage ceremonies for up to 80 guests and will be one of the most unique wedding venues on the South Coast. Take photos on the Bowling Green, enjoy canapés by the water’s edge and then head over to the Kings Priory for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations, or down to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel. Works will commence in the early part of the year and we will be able to host our first wedding in the spring.
