Catch it, Cook it, Eat it!
It's commonly known that fish tastes better when you've caught it yourself, and our Catch it, Cook it, Eat it season is back on the horizon! Between May and September, you can experience a day in the lives of the Mudeford fishermen, and even enjoy the fruits of your labour with a delicious meal when you return!
Start the day off right with a coffee and biscuits at The Kings, before being picked up and whisked away to Mudeford Quay where you'll join up with the local fishermen aboard their trawler. Your departure time will be entirely dependent on the tide, but we'll confirm this once you've made a booking. You'll be at sea for between 3 and 4 hours catching as many fish as possible before returning to The Kings for lunch or an early supper depending on what time you leave.
We'll bring snacks for the boat and a glass of bubbly for everyone on board!
When you get back to The Kings, Chef Patron Alex Aitken or Head Chef Ian will relieve you of your haul and perform a live demonstration showing you how to get the very best from your catch. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine with your meal as you reflect on a day at sea.
Our Catch It, Cook It, Eat It! trips are available for groups of 6 or more, but no more than 10!
