The Restaurant serves the very best local and seasonal food – with sophisticated simplicity and a unique and charming English setting, overlooking the Kings Arms Bowling Green and historical castle ruins. Alex Aitken, from Le Poussin, Limewood and The Jetty, is in charge of the food and menus at The Kings Restaurant.

Alex Aitken’s latest menus at the Kings are all about fun dining. Kings now has a great atmosphere and delicious food, with our menus making use of the very best local ingredients caught, grown or prepared close to Christchurch from the New Forest and the waters of the South Coast. A new wine list brings some interesting wines, many by the glass, and our 'Gin O'Clock' and Cocktail Menu have proven popular. Whilst enjoying a drink at the bar, we have a great Quick & Simple menu.

Wednesday is Josper Grill Night, Friday is Fizz n Chips, and every day is Gin O'Clock.
