To provide you with the best available price on any given day of the year, we operate a sophisticated price management system, which enables us to guarantee you the best quote for the period of your stay. The following tariff provides you with a guideline of our prices – we promise to never quote higher than the top rate illustrated on this tariff and sometimes we quote less, should you book our 3 day advantage rate.

All rates are based on two persons sharing a room, inclusive of full English breakfast and VAT at the current rate. Single occupancy rates are available and can be reserved a discount of £12.50 per night would apply from the above rates. Should you be sure of your date of travelling, we offer a room and breakfast 3 day advantage rate which gives you a further discount, all we ask is that you book your stay 3 days prior to arrival and settle the full amount of your stay. This rate cannot be cancelled charged or amended.

Booking Conditions

Arrival and Departure
Your room will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. Please inform reception if late arrival after 10.00 pm is anticipated. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00am on the day of departure. Whilst every effort will be 4 made to meet requests for specific room numbers this cannot be guaranteed.

Breakfast is included in all our rates, this is available in the restaurant only on a Monday – Friday from 7.00am until 10.00am  All rates include the use of The Harbour Spa at our sister hotel the Christchurch Harbour Hotel, you are able to use this facility from 3.00pm on the day of arrival until 11.00am the day of departure.

Please note that the Swimming Pool is not available on Monday 9am - 10am, Wednesday 7pm - 8pm & Friday 8.30am - 9.30am.  You are welcome to use the Sauna, Steam room and Hydrotherapy Pool, but not the Swimming Pool.  Some of these times overlap the designated children’s swim time in this case, Children’s swim time will be extended by an extra hour. Should you wish to book treatments at the hotel, we do advise this is done prior to arrival.

Single Occupancy
The hotel has no single rooms, however double / twin rooms are available for sole occupancy an adjustment to your rate would be made at the time of booking.

Carbon Footprint Rate
We offer complimentary room upgrade to the next available room types for guests who arrive at the hotel by public transport. This upgrade is subject to rooms been available at the time of arrival, this cannot be pre booked and is subject to rooms been available.

Pets
We do not permit pets in any of the rooms at the hotel.

Children’s Policy
Children sharing with two adults will be charged for all meals taken within the hotel, a breakfast charge of £12.50 per child will be added to your account at the time of making a reservation.

Dinner Inclusive Rates
Guests who book a dinner inclusive rate are advised no reduction for temporary absence of meals not taken We do request that dinner time is booked at the time of booking, we will endeavour to meet the requested time, however this cannot be guaranteed.

Advantage Rates
A non refundable amount of the total stay will be taken from the credit card number you provide at the time of booking, this cannot be cancelled changed or amended.

Bookings on a Saturday night are generally a minimum of a two night stay

The Kings Hotel reserved the right to cancel any bookings should extenuating circumstances or errors occur preventing them from proceeding. Please note this is not good for business and would only be through emergency or within ample notice to source an alternative. The Kings Hotel will not be liable of any losses occurring as a result of such action.
 

The hotel has limited car parking with a bay for six cars at the front of the hotel and limited spaces available in the hotel carpark at the rear of the property (please call in to reception for access). Car parking is available in the town and is operated by the city council. Standard parking charges apply. Our carbon footprint rate is available throughout the year for all the guests who travelled to the hotel by public transport by bus or train. Guest must prove on arrival the method of transport to obtain this discounted rate for thier accommodation. Bournemouth is only a stones throw away making this hotel ideally located for any need you may have in the area, there is no need to look for another hotel in Bournemouth, you have found it

The hotel is location opposite the quintessential Kings Arms bowling green and historic sites of Castle ruins, Norman Hall and the Priory. Christchurch is a mix of historic town and vibrant watersports destination. Well-known for its excellent sailing water in the sheltered waters of Christchurch Harbour and on the four square miles of usable race water in Christchurch Bay. Highcliffe Sailing Club, Christchurch Sailing Club and Mudeford Sailing Club regularly host racing events, championships and national regattas which are open to members and non-members.

Highcliffe Sailing Club is now recognised as a nominated training camp for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Windsurfers travel from all over the UK for the wave sailing at Avon Beach, just one mile from the hotel. Wind-blown waves can be created within a few hours by sea breezes, so wherever there is a wave you will find surfers and bodyboarders. Expert tuition is available, and within a few hours you can be taught the art of windsurfing, powerkiting and powerboating. Lessons, watersports equipment, clothing accessories are available from Crazywater in Highcliffe.

If you fancy an exhilarating blast around the open sea, RYA Power Courses on superb Avon RIBS in Christchurch Bay are available and also RIB courses which combine theory and practice with as much time on the water as possible.

There are a number of wonderful beach walks from the Hotel to the local beaches which you hav eto take at a leisurely pace to enjoy the surroundings. Other walks along the Hampshire and Dorset coastline by following the beach footpath as far as to Highcliffe Castle, a good stopping off point for tea and cake, and this would take you through the woodland nature reserve to Avon Beach by our sister hotel, Christchurch Harbour Hotel.
